Why Independent
A captive agent represents one company. When you call them, they can only offer what that carrier sells, at that carrier's prices, with that carrier's underwriting rules. If it is not a good fit, they have nothing else to offer.
As an independent agency, we represent multiple A-rated carriers. We submit your information to the carriers that make sense for your situation, compare the results, and recommend the coverage that fits you.
If one carrier raises your rates at renewal, we can shop the others without you having to start over with a new agent.
How We Work
We start by understanding your actual situation, not by running a quote. What do you own? What do you owe? What would actually hurt if something went wrong? That drives the coverage conversation, not a default package.
We will tell you when your current coverage is fine. We will also tell you when there is a gap worth fixing and what it costs to fix it. We do not believe in selling coverage people do not need.
