Commercial Auto

What factors drive commercial auto insurance rates in Georgia?

Commercial auto premiums in Georgia are set based on vehicle type, driver records (MVRs are pulled at binding and renewal), annual mileage, radius of operation, business use type, and coverage limits. A clean driver with one commercial van in Johns Creek pays very differently than a landscaping company with 10 trucks and drivers with violations. We pull MVRs before quoting and flag any drivers who would significantly affect premium. Placing drivers with violations with the wrong carrier can cost 30 to 50 percent more than placing with a carrier that has appetite for your specific driver profile.
