AUTO INSURANCE ยท GEORGIA
Georgia's 25/50/25 state minimum is a number the legislature set in 1992. Current medical costs and vehicle repair costs ran past it long ago. We place auto coverage that would actually hold up in a real claim, across carriers that compete on price and service rather than one captive quote.
Free Coverage ReviewWHAT'S COVERED
Pays for injuries and property damage you cause others. Georgia minimum is 25/50/25. Most clients carry 100/300/100 or higher.
Collision for crash damage. Comprehensive for theft, hail, vandalism, flood, and animal strikes. Required when the vehicle is leased or any party holds a secured financial interest in it.
Pays when an at-fault driver has no insurance or not enough. Georgia has a meaningful share of uninsured drivers.
Covers medical costs for you and passengers regardless of fault. Optional but useful for households without strong health insurance.
IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, and similar work are excluded on a personal auto policy. You need either the platform's commercial coverage, a rideshare endorsement, or a commercial auto policy.
Regular maintenance, engine failure, transmission failure, and tire wear are not covered. Mechanical breakdown coverage is a separate product.
Damage caused intentionally, during a speed contest, or while the driver is committing a felony is excluded.
Most policies cap custom equipment coverage at $1,000 to $5,000. If you have meaningful aftermarket work, it needs to be scheduled.
