About This Carrier
RT Specialty is a wholesale distributor of specialty insurance and the wholesale broking arm of Ryan Specialty. It gives retail agencies access to specialty and surplus-lines markets - property, casualty, professional lines, personal lines, and workers compensation - for risks the standard admitted market will not write.
Because these placements are often on a non-admitted / surplus-lines basis, they carry different consumer protections and are not backed by the Alabama Insurance Guaranty Association. We will always tell you when a quote is from a non-admitted market and why.
